I am the mother of a 6 year old little girl who is "baby crazy". She has dozens of dolls and calls them her "children". When I discovered the Adora dolls we viewed all of the different dolls online and I asked my daughter which doll would she choose to have if she could have an Adora doll? She chose the one that most resembled herself. This doll arrived just before Christmas, and on Christmas morning my daughter was on cloud nine! She looks beautiful, and resembles a real baby. The day was perfect until mid afternoon when my daughter tried to take out the dolls ponytails. The hair immediately matted and the curls became a tangled terrrible mess. I've never seen such hair on any doll. It is the type of hair one would imagine on dolls from the 1920's when there were no other options for decent doll hair. My daughter is very gentle and delicate with her things. This dolls hair can not be touched whatsoever without it becoming a frizzy mess within seconds. I've never seen hair like it (imagine a cheap wig from a dollar store). Very disappointed because what little girl wants a doll with hair you can not touch! Not to mention that after just a few hours after opening the doll, her hair looks as if it is 20 years old. This strange hair would suit a "display" doll but certainly not a doll that meant for a little girl to hold and play with!!!

I purchased 2 Adora Dolls for a young child. She could not believe the way the dolls are so life-like. She says her eyes follow her around and twinkle like a real baby. I then decided I needed to have one myself. I had already ordered the African American Cherries Jubilee and Little Charmer for the girl. When I opened it I found it lovingly packed and easy to take out of the protective carton. She is even more beautiful in person. As someone who is a milliner, I find the dresses of high-quality and detailing. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. It is worth every penny and will make you smile each time you behold their magical, angelic presence!

The hair from the front looks the same as the photo although it feels very course. The problem is the hair in the back is so thin you can see the large holes in the plastic scalp. I expected more from such an expensive doll.

The doll is cute, and has an adorable face, This doll was purchased for my granddaughters 6th birthday. The doll arrived in time to give to her, and she loved it! I was not pleased because the video the company showed on this doll, stated the doll smelled like baby powder and it did have a slight smell of it, however the dress smelled mildew, and the entire outfit was so badly wrinkled. Her little sandals were wavy and unevenly attached to sole of shoe. Her hair was messy, and also had an odor. Did not smell like a new doll, or look like one. When you spend over Eighty dollars for a doll you would at least expect the doll to be in perfect condition. My granddaughter did not want me to send it back, or I would have! To bad, because it is a cute doll. Adora should take more pride in their dolls, and inspect them a little better before shipments go out. I will think twice before ordering another Adora doll.

This doll was such a surprise when i received it, when I opened the box I could smell the baby powder on her. What a great idea to give them a scent. Her clothes are just darling and she is gorgeous highly recommended .
