Hard to get a child to read but if it comes with a toy, they might be more interested. Barbies are always fun, but with the book, it's became interesting for my girls ages 3 & 4. It's also a great gift.

One benefit is that the ballet shoes are on for good or at least for now. My daughter really loves this movie so it made sense that it would be on Santa's list this year. Nice small size hardcover book and the doll is lovely with soft, shiny hair. Joints do not bend like on the newest Barbie dolls but for the sale price I was pleased with this package deal.
