I got this for my 8-year-old daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. She has a million Barbies (OK, maybe 100 between her dad's house and my house), so I was halfway expecting this to get thrown in the pile. However, it is holding its own very well. She has played with it daily since she opened the package. She likes the hair, the eyelashes, the multiple points of articulation, and the fact that the arms come on and off for easy wardrobe changes. This is not the size of a traditional fashion doll (bother shorter and thinner), so the clothes are not fully interchangeable. We are making it work with rubber bands as belts. Clothing for the HSM dolls seems to work well for the overall size of this doll. I like Chyna enough to invest in another VIP doll for my daughter's birthday in a few weeks. I think we will go with Rocky (she likes the outfit) or Teddy because the doll strongly resembles the character. For kids who watch the Disney shows, these are great little dolls. Now we would love to see Ally Dawson doll and a Jessie doll, those are my daughter's two cents.
