I bought this for my six year olds birthday, and she was so excited to get it... Until she tried to use it. Nothing worked as advertised. Hair did not change color, nails didn't either. The eye makeup did not work, and the lips did not change colour. We did exactly what the instructions said to do.

Read other reviews about this that had the same experience. Do not buy this toy!

UPDATE: I called Just Play and told them about my daughter's experience, and they promptly sent her a new head. Unfortunately, the head they sent didn't work either. Kudos to Just Play for customer service, but this toy is still a waste of money.

It took my husband, my 5 year old daughter and myself almost an hour to try to change the hair colour which hasn't changed. My daughter is convinced it is changing but the hair still remains pink (the original colour). I believe the make up colour changed slightly, it was hard to say if the nail colour changed, it still looks the same to me. The stick on nails don't stick and when my daughter went to add the decals, the nails fell off. This toy is very disappointing and if there were a zero option for overall review that's what I would give it. She is still having fun combing the hair and refilling the nail colour bottle and bowl with cold water and making a big watery mess everywhere trying to get the colour to change. I strongly believe since this toy is not doing what it was supposed to do, I'm sure it will end up in a corner somewhere collecting dust.

We couldn't even run a wide toothed comb through the stiff, straight, choppy hair. None of the colors changed. It's a rather cruel joke to make a product of such poor quality.

item does not do what is suppose to based on instructions. Way over priced for piece of plastic which is total junk. All this does is disapoint a child , do not waste your money. Contacted customer service at JustPlay, said it worked fine after sending it back, they returned it to me and still a piece of junk.

I gave this to our 6 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she was so excited to get it. However, my daughter just called to let me know how disappointed she is with this toy. She said unless she took the head and ran it under the faucet with very hot water, the hair would not change color. Also, unless the water was extremely hot, the nails, eyelids or lips would NOT change color. The head is very pretty and the accessories are also nice, but I am surprised Mattel did not do better product testing on this item before putting it on the market. I feel my money was wasted buying this product.
