The Irish Dance dress fits the AG doll perfectly and it's adorable. The colors are vibrant and the value is terrific. However, the ghillies DO turn your doll's feet black. My daughter's AG doll looks like her feet have varicose veins in them! I tried using rubbing alcohol to remove and the black staining but it didn't work. I am not sure what else I will try. Really, it's not that big of deal to me, but if you want to be sure your AG doll remains in pristine condition skip the ghillies. I am happy with the dress and very glad I purchased it.

My daughter picked out her first American Girl Doll from the store last week for her birthday, and she absolutely adores her. Unfortunately I did not see the previous review, and it is absolutely true. The ghillies (shoes) will turn the doll's feet BLACK!!! Brand new doll. Ruined. The dress itself is beautiful, but I'm so upset that her brand new doll is now ruined!
