I purchased this toy for my 3 yr old niece for Christmas. She lives in another state and I had it shipped directly to her house so I didn't get to see it in person but my sister-in-law said it's great and that my niece loves it.

I really only got this because I was so smitten with the T-shirt of the happy monster stomping through Tokyo. Unfortunately that came out of the box with two rips already started in the shoulders. And there really isn't anything else in the set worth keeping. Her hair sheds something awful. If there was a piece of luggage, a passport, a guide book, or some other little travel details that would give the play some scope -and also make it a great surprise to pull out and give to a little girl on a long flight. I do like the little box of to-go food with the chopsticks -even if stabbing your chopsticks in your food like that makes it an offering for the dead (see? she needs a guidebook.)
