I thought I'd be a little underwhelmed when I got this but I was very surprised. The Communion Dress was beautiful. The veil was the icing on the cake. We purchased this for our friend's daughter, for her First Communion... She had just received an American Girl Doll and didn't have a communion ensemble for her yet... The dress quality is very good and it fit the doll perfectly! I did read another reviewer's comment that the little top is sheer and it is, so a little slip or camisole would be perfect to put under it... The outfit is cute and it fits our American Doll perfectly... The lacy top is kind of sheer so we put a little top on underneath.
