This is my daughters favorite doll. She totes this doll around all day long, sleeps with the doll at night, and gives the doll hundreds of kisses throughout the day. My problem is the doll is not durable. She got the doll for Christmas and after 2 days of constant attention the sheer dress started to unravel and loose silky strings were hanging from it so I had to cut them off, so it would not pose a hazard to her. The outfit can not be removed because it is actually sewn to the body. Even though this is my daughters favorite doll, I would not recommend it because it is not durable, so I hope that I don't have to buy this doll again to replace the other one too soon.05-31-11 I do recommend this doll. I did end up having to buy another one and it is holding up great, so I believe that the first one was defective.

I was very pleased with the Disney Baby Tiana. I was, surprised, she had no accessoriesbut since she's for little ones, I guess that is why no bottle or anything!Other than the box incorrectly having Ariel as Cinderella and vice versa on the back, it is as cute as can be.

My one year old adores Princess and The Frog, and I couldn't be more happy about that. Tiana is a strong, responsible, and motivated Disney character! My daughter's favorite part of the movie is the beginning with young Tiana and Charlotte. After a little though, I decided to get the baby version of Tiana instead of the little girl version because my daughter is practically still a baby herself! She LOVES babies and so I knew she'd love this doll. I couldn't have been more right. She carries baby Tiana around and gives her lots of kisses. This doll is perfect for her because it's got a soft body that's easy to squeeze and comfortable for a little girl to hold. The doll is nicely made, a little smaller than I'd hoped it'd be, but still a very good size for a child. It's got a nice weight to it, not too heavy, not too light. There was a sale on the Disney store website for this doll. Unfortunately it was out of stock! Paying a little extra for it on Amazon was worth it, though. I love that this is a pretty little black baby doll, they did a really good job filling the void of the dolls that little black girls want. (As a child I remember there being too few dolls that looked like meI wanted to play mommy too, and I wanted a pretty baby that looked like me, just like this one). My only gripe is that her clothes are stuck to her so you can't play dress up and she is about 9 inches. Other than thatgreat job! I will be buying the toddler Tiana for next years present!
