My 7 year old daughter likes this styling head and I like that she's not a typical blond "Barbie" head. My daughter has dark hair, so I wanted a styling head that looked more like her than Barbie. Unfortunately, the head was smaller than I expected and is very light weight, which means you need to hold onto her when brushing her hair. She isn't heavy enough to stand on her own and take the pulling. But my daughter is still having lots of fun with her. She was a little less costly compared to other styling heads, so for the price its' a good buy.

I got this for my daughter for her birthday. She loves practicing doing different hair styles. It helps to teach her how to do her own hair. You do have to be careful with the hair because it can easily get tangled and pulled out. I would say it is for kids 5 and older.

When I first got the Barbie Styling Head I thought it was too small. But my 6-yr old loves it and has spent lots of time trying out new hair styles. She uses the clips that came with it as well as her own. The size makes it easy to put in her backpack to take somewhere.

I saw this doll last year when I helped a friend order it for her daughter. My cousin loves to comb hair so I knew this would be her gift this year. I read the reviews which were spot on. The doll head is small and light, but it is a perfect gift for a four year old. She enjoyed it and it kept her out of my hair for a few hours.
