I bought this for a little girl turning eight. She loves dolls, but didn't seem particularly impressed with this doll. I thought it was very pretty, and she liked it, but didn't love it.
The reason I picked this doll was because the description stated it sang the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song. It doesn't. You press the flower on the front of the dress and it says "Happy Birthday" in a sing song type of voice. That's it. No song, just Happy Birthday.
I still gave it 3 stars because it is a pretty doll, but it did disappoint.
Also, the first doll I ordered via Amazon prime, I guess was shipped by a different seller. The package was in pretty bad shape and not from shipping. I didn't realize it was from an outside vendor when I ordered it, but since it was shipped via Amazon prime, I was able to return it without shipping due to not being in new condition. When I pressed the button on the doll it said the same words.
Second doll I ordered was shipped by Amazon and it arrived in new condition.
So two dolls, both saying Happy Birthday, no song. Unless I got two defective dolls.
If you like the looks of the doll, it is nice. If you are buying it hoping it will sing the birthday song, you will be disapointed.

I got this for my 2 year old's birthday, and the look on her face when she unwrapped the doll, pressed the flower and the song started was priceless. The reviewer who had a problem probably didn't pull the tag from the doll before trying to make it sing...when you pull the tag in the back out, the whole song plays.Best Deals for Disney Princess Birthday Tiana Doll
My daughter loves this doll, and she DOES sing the entire birthday song. The previous poster complained that she doesn't. There is a protective plastic strip on her back that you have to remove after purchasing. which keeps children from walking by it in the store and wearing out the batteries.Honest reviews on Disney Princess Birthday Tiana Doll
This was an incredible doll. My daughter had original doll from her last trip with us to the park in Orlando, and was unable to replace that park doll, as Disney likes it that way, but this offering, was great replacement and I was glad to pay the extra over other ones, as the last doll went through a lot, over two years of constant play, and a place as the favorite princess. I have no clue why she attached to this princess so dearly, but it is actually nearly as endearing as her almost tragic beautifying of Ariel, who nearly caused a swoon in person at the park. I cannot wait to see her meet, Tiana in person, and love the durablity, if you don't cut the hair of course, of this brand.
