I must say, for the price, I was a little disappointed by the size of the house and what it comes with. It comes with 3 people (Dora, her mom and dad), a dog, and then 7 pieces of furniture. It's not nearly enough to fill up the house, and the box is a bit deceiving for your kid b/c it's got pictures of full rooms of furniture and extra people and then in small print says they are sold separately. The sounds are mostly Dora's voice and she says the word/phrase in English and then in Spanish, just like on the show.

Both my 3 year old and 18 month old enjoy playing with it. It's durable, thick plastic make it perfect for even smaller kids. The doors and moving parts are not easily pulled off/apart, etc. The furniture and people it does come with are also durable and easy to wipe down and clean off b/c they're all plastic.

Overall, the price of $70 is WAY more than I would pay for this, but if you could find it for $30-$40 it would be worth it!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My granddaughter loves Dora, she is familiar with all things Dora, and when she received this dollhouse she was ecstatic! She was quite amazed with the number of boxes that the dollhouse came in. There was the large Amazon box, then the dollhouse box from which you could pull the dollhouse.

The dollhouse is a sturdy hard plastic. It folds within itself and is easy to unfold. The third floor fits easily over the second floor. A curved nine step stairway attaches to the left. Dora, her mother and father and her dog, Perrito are the family figures. You can purchase other family sets,and my granddaughter wants the 'Gramma' set. A set of furniture is enclosed,a couch, sink, several small hassocks, a bed, a stove and a craft table. The furniture is a little stingy for the price of the entire set. You must purchase other pieces in sets of furniture. Stickers are provided to decorate the houses and to provide the interior of the refrigerator. My granddaughter loved to open the fridge to look at the food to decide what to make for dinner.

There are buttons and bells to make sounds. The insert states there are 75 phrases, and half are in Spanish. My granddaughter takes Spanish in her pre-school, and knew some of the phrasing. She would answer the questions asked by Dora. She is quite used to the interaction that Dora provides. The sounds and phrasing add a great deal to the interaction and play. My granddaughter is three and is entranced with the dollhouse. She knew instinctively how to use all of the figures and furniture. There are seven rooms to fill,so she will have a good time. Again, I would like to reiterate that for the price of the dollhouse, more furniture was an expectation.

The dollhouse is a good size, the figures are a perfect size to play with. The dollhouse is easy to fold and unfold and put away, if needed. It is brightly colored and the furniture attractive. A great deal of fun and play is expected with this house. It made one little girl smile with joy!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Dora the Explorer dollhouse is definitely a fun upgrade to the traditional Fisher-Price dollhouses I remember from the early 2000s when I would help take care of my younger cousins some afternoons. Dora and her family's limbs move better and they seem to be slightly smaller in stature which is quite nice when playing with a smaller dollhouse. While obviously everything doesn't need to be the same ratio in a non-model toy, it is always peculiar to have "people" who almost touch the "ceiling."

The dollhouse was easy to set-up when we received it. The larger dollhouse box was placed in an Amazon box only slightly larger than the former. When the inner box is opened the dollhouse can be lifted out and the shelves/floors folded down in a flash. The only things you have to attach are the upper story and the spiral staircase and these things are super simple to place and remove later for storage or daily clean-up (depending on your space situation).

In the box you receive Dora, her puppy Perrito, her mother, and her father. In terms of furniture, the refrigerator is attached in the kitchen and the front door, complete with doggy door, is already in place. The set includes additional furniture in the form of a couch, washer and dryer, table with two stools, and a bed. There are also art/decorations in the form of stickers. This makes for rather spartan playing, so consider either ordering some additional furniture to add to the house or plan on making some for a fun craft project.

The buttons and sounds (doorbell, kitchen floor area button, etc.) offer fun accents for playtime. It is thrilling for the kids to hear Dora talk and welcome them to her home to play. Her talk is mostly English but contains some Spanish terms consistent with the program.

One of the nicer points of appeal for this set is the ability to order a Dora playmate from several different options so that your daughter can grab a friend that looks somewhat like her.

Ultimately, I think the Dora dollhouse would be particular fun for a Dora fan but would also be a great alternative to the more generic variations of this same unit.

Fisher Price just be lucky kids are easily pleased. I have never seen people fly to the second floor of their houses and that is what some kid will think when you make a staircase that stops mid-way. I suppose Dora and her family will fly to the upper floor when they want to go to bed. My daughter asked me how they get up there and I never wanted her to think Fisher Price duped me so I said that we will just have to take them upstairs. This should have included more furniture or sold for less since the furniture that is being sold separately is so expensive. Parents, by the time you furnish this dollhouse, you could have refurnished your daughter's room on a minimal budget. This is what we get for being parents who make little girls' dreams come true.

The house folds up, so it doesn't take up a huge amount of space all the time. The house says words and phrases in English and Spanish in Dora's voice. The house doesn't come with many figures, but additional figures can be purchased separately. It would be nice if Boots were part of the set. If you purchase this house for your Dora loving child, be prepared for a campaign for more dolls and furniture.
