I bought this toy and two other Paddywhack Lane poseable figures (kids dressed as pirate and mouse) to go with the Paddywhack Lane treehouse set. Everything is really adorable but, unfortunately, none of it holds up well to even the slightest amount of playtime. The dolls/figures, in particular, easily break apart at the "joints," so that a leg or forearm comes right off -which is most upsetting to a child. At a playdate at my house, one little girl broke into tears because she thought she had broken one of the dolls. I finally decided that constantly reattaching limbs and treehouse components (slide, tire swing, balcony, etc.) wasn't worth the children's dismay or the aggravation it caused me, so I pitched the whole set into the trash. I wouldn't even consider passing these products on to another child or even leaving them at the curb for a stranger to pick up. Just wanted to share my "lessons learned" with any parents who might be considering purchasing these products.

So as a replacement to plastic dress up princesses, it is about 50/50. She is cute, posable, and can stand up and be dressed easily by little hands. However the paint job is a bit shoddy, making the quality look bad. The capes are really hard for my five year old to put on, much less my three year old. It was for the three year old. She took the crown and put it on the other doll she got and hasn't looked back. Doesn't like the clothes on this one. I am so very glad I didn't pay full price. If I had I would be very disappointed. The girl does hold the wand, a plus, and the cat also has moveable parts. It achieves the goal of a little girl playing dress up. I guess the kicker is that my daughter would rather have her naked then wear the clothes she came with!
