I should know better by now, but I saw this and thought it was cuteI just assume that toys will have a way to shut them off..... I was wrong.

This thing makes irritating noises and small songs when you push either of it's buttons. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, no one we know has figured out any difference between one button or the other as far as response. But IT CONTINUES to make noises periodically after you stop playing with it. Even the kids are annoyed by it, so they try to find an off buttononly to restart the thing's 'interactions' and it's even longer before it shuts up.

I can't speak to it's durability, because so far I have resisted the overwhelming urge to throw it against a brick wall to make it be quiet. This is a toy that you will either hide in the back of a bookcase or remove the batteries of.

My daughter insisted she wanted this for Christmas and was thrilled when she received it. The toy doesn't really do much and she lost interrest very quick. It is very durable and cute but not very intertaining.
