These dolls are great and hold up really well. They have a very contemperary look to them. Too cute and SO easy to dress. Not like Bratz or Barbies that are hard to dress. This is top quality velcro and GREATLY made. My little girl's has been thrown off banisters, kicked across the room and everything else you can imagine...even being dunked into a toilet. and she still looks brand new. THAT is a well made toy.
And about plastics and them being "hard", like Barbies never stabbed any kids in the eyes with those fingers or Brats arent made of the same exact plastic...hard! and barbies broke and became very sharp, these dont, there are no hard edges or any plastic type materials that break. Everything is rounded. It is one of the safest toys I have bought.
Either way, I hope this review proves they are NOT a bad doll at all. I just hate to see bad reviews for something that is genuinely a very good product.

I made this video because I didn't think the overall feel of the doll translated well through the packaging. I would take a look at this before you buy one of these. This is my first video review; enjoy!

I bought two of these dolls for my almost 4 year old daughter for Christmas. At first I wasn't quite sure about them but they really grew on me! We have two more now with one more on the way from ToysRus.Impressions
-The head is heavy but my daughter doesn't seem to mind.
-The arms and feet are very smooth so they are easy to get the clothes and shoes on and off. My daughter can do it herself without help which I LOVE!
-They each come with a little poster which my daughter really liked.
Negatives
-Not enough clothes! Make more accessories.
-Packaging is terrible, I thought I was going to sustain major injuries trying to get the darn things out! There are several plastic hang tags that stick into the back of the dolls head. I recommend pulling her straight out of the package, then cutting the large part of the plastic tags off. Then you can push the remaining plastic pieces back into the head.
In the future I would like to see a whole line of clothing for these, as well as more varying hair styles.
