It was a cool concept, but the colors really aren't dark enough and they are really sticky on the hair. You can't get a comb through after you apply them. I wouldn't recommend for girls under 10 because it is quite messy.

I bought this for my daughters and it does not work on dark hair. If you don't have very light hair don't even bother. you cannot see it on. the box has a small disclaimer on the bottome saying "works best on lighter hair" however, they don't tell you it doesn't work at all on dark hair.

Easy application and the color looks pretty good. It's not as messy as I've expected, plus me and my nieces had a lot of fun. I think it's a great gift for holiday.
