I got this toy birthday cake, the cake plate and several cupcakes for my granddaughter's birthday party. She had everyone bring their American Girl Dolls to her birthday party. They made a little outfit for their dolls and when they passed out the birthday cake, I pulled out the toy cake & cupcakes for their dolls. The girls were thrilled. I think they liked the toy cake better than the real cake. I don't think there is much educational value to this toy but it was a lot of fun.

It is cute, but much smaller than I expected. And, my granddaughter was also disappointed in the size of the product.
