As with other Calico Critter sets, there are small pieces and it is not necessarily great for really young children. My daughter is 7 and loves playing with the sets, especially the babies. So this was a great addition to our collection.
Very sweet family minus the dad :-( but it is not evident since they are 'out for a stroll'.

This is a wonderful set and really good value for the money. We received ours as a gift. So much attention to detail and precious extras like the bunny and rattle. Calico Critters sets are the BEST.
