I bought this set because my 7 year old daughter loves mermaids and polly pocket dolls. A perfect combination! The pieces are concerningly small, but a watchful eye and meticulous clean-up makes the set manageable. The clothes are a little hard to get off an on. Overall though, a really cute set. I am very happy with it.

My daughter is 3 and has some other small toys to dress (Olivia). We thought she would enjoy this as well. However the clothing pieces are stretchy plastic that are so limited in their stretch that even my husband and I have difficulty fitting them over the doll's head or tail. My daughter enjoys looking at all of the accessories but none of them seem to fit well and we end up "playing" with it more than she does to help out an ease her frustration. Choose something else.
