We bought this for our daughter when she was turning 1. She had expressed a lot of interest in baby dolls of all kinds. We wanted her to have a good first doll, and the 12 inch size is perfect. The vanilla scent is not overpowering and is lovely. Her outfit is even cuter in person, although her hat is so thin that the light passes through, and I am not sure how long it will hold up; it doesn't seem like it could be very durable. Others have mentioned that their Corolle Raspberry dolls have had yellow teeth, and I assume this must be true of all Corolle dolls with teeth because this one has them also. However, they were painted to not be so obvious, and more subtle. They really just blend in with the mouth. You can see this if you zoom the picture. I only notice them when I tilt her head back and stare at them. I suppose if it bothered me badly enough, I'd get a small paint brush and "whiten" them myself. I love this doll very much and my daughter does, too. It's her favorite. I just thought I would mention all of the negative things, to eliminate surprises. I am completely satisfied with our purchase, and I plan to get some accessories for her in the future, provided that my daughter still loves her so much. By the way, she has dark brown eyes. The Corolle website says blue eyes, and I've noticed that other sites say it too, but they really are dark brown. She is not hispanic; however, because her skin is very light. Corolle does offer a hispanic calin though. :)

We love Corolle dolls and with three little ones corolle dollies abound in our house. However, I would have to say the little boy Tidoo doll (different colored outfit from this one) I bought for my son last Christmas is the least favorite. My son likes him just fine. I am disappointed though. The body is way under stuffed. Maybe they make him that way so he will dry faster. But what ends up happening is that he doesn't fit clothes well. The jeans and sweater set from Corolle we purchased slips off from around the waist because there isn't hardly anything there. In addition to the fact that he can't sit at all. He just slumps over. And he hardly weighs anything. I bought one of the regular 12" Corolle dolls for my neice and couldn't believe the difference in feel of her and how well the clothes fit and how she sat up. I wish I had gotten my son a different Corolle doll. My son (age 2 1/2) really wanted a "blinky doll." It was exactly what he needed. Not too expensive for a toy that is likely to not get much use. "Masculine" or gender neutral enough that my husband didn't freak out! Small in size. Soft body.I haven't (and won't) tell my son that it can go in the tub so I can't speak to that aspect of it.
Overall a nice buy.

i chose this doll for my kid(3 1/2 yr) because it is completely washable, has open/close eyes(which are brown, which is nice since most dolls have blue eyes), and my kids favorite colors are red and white, so the outfit is a plus. My kid loves this doll. she looks exactly like the lutin bright tidoo which we got for my other kid, but we can tell them apart from the eye color. lutin has blue eyes. the pacifier is fun, as is the thumb in mouth. she is light-weight, loosely stuffed with foamy pellets. she can't sit on her own, but we don't care. my kids really enjoy bathtime with these baby dolls. we towel them dry and hang them on a towel rack over night. in the morning they are dry enough to dress and play with again. if my kids want to sleep with them, they skip the bath and my kids play just with the duckies they came with, which are simple and fun.
