I bought this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. She/we LOVED it; I did ALOT of research; even bought Imaginarium Grandview Dollhouse from Toysrus and returned after comparing it with this one. The Quality alone spoke for itself, the frame of this dollhouse is Wood; not the cardboard cheap thin stuff like most of the dollhouses are made from. IT has TEN rooms with wood furniture; where the Grandview only gave you 11 furniture pieces and the thin walls were obnoxious colors (which only a child could love).
It is HUGE; we had to rearrange her closet and take away a bookshelf to make this fit in her room so she can play with both sides (versus other dollhouses with one side to put against the wall) but she has played with it EVERYDAY since she's had it now. She has mixed dolls; Barbies, Moxie doll, Liv dolls, & Brat dolls; they all work. THIS dollhouse is durable where you can hand it down to future siblings.
HIGHLY recommend this, especially for multiple siblings. Please make sure to have the space for it; you need to have the ability to where she can play with BOTH sides of house; the caster wheels are awesome when need to turn the house.

Bought this for my almost 5 year old granddaughter-and she loves it because it's big enough for her Barbies and has such colorful furniture and walls. Plus, it's accessible from all sides. It has wheels and is large, all pluses. However, don't believe anyone who says it only takes an hour to assemble. We hired a professional to put it together and it took him at least 2 hours--and he had to use his power drill and supply extra washers.Best Deals for KidKraft So Chic Dollhouse
As most say this a high quality final product, but be prepared for a frustrating couple of hours of assembly. I consider myself skilled with tools but still ran into a number of issues. Although the parts are well marked, the diagrams are not specific enough as to orientation of the interior panels each of which has four ways it can be attached. Two ways can be excluded quickly by pattern matching but the two others are less obvious and require careful attention to the placement of the predrilled holes in the existing floor and future ceiling. I messed up twice which required triple work. Also the small screws have very soft metal heads which will quickly strip if you are not using a good fitting Phillips screwdriver. On a minor point, the small hardware comes in a nice looking compartment style blister pack but they all seem to run together as you remove specific screws. Recommend you separate the hardware into small bags all at once so you will not be searching for the right screws in a mess on the floor. The styrofoam packing material breaks up in small pieces which will leave a trail all over your house, so be prepared to spend time vacuuming up. Still worth the trouble. Kids love it.Honest reviews on KidKraft So Chic Dollhouse
This is a great doll house. It is really really big. We knew the dimensions before ordering, but it is pretty massive. There are 2 sides. The whole thing is on wheels, so it can easily slide out from the wall when you want to play with it. The furniture seems good quality and there is lots of furniture. Really you won't need any other furniture as it is complete. My children like to play with it. We've had this for a year, nothing is broken :) Not too bad to put together. I will mention that one side of the roof came with a small crack in it. I called the company. They were very quick to replace the broken part. Actually since it was a Christmas gift (last year) and since I needed it ASAP, they overnighted the piece on their dime. Easy company to work with.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for KidKraft So Chic Dollhouse
It is big, but way cool. Very open so two or more kids can play at the same time. Extremely well built and cute. The furniture is awesome and durable. Well worth the money. It takes about 3-3 1/2 hours solid to assemble the dollhouse and to unpack all the furniture (one box per room and each item is individually wrapped).
