Almost bought this in the store today, until I saw the warning written on the box. "Items contain lead or may create lead dust". Buyers Beware!

This product came with a huge warning sticker about the lead paint in the product and the possibility of lead DUST on it. I'm still debating whether or not to actually give it to my daughter. I'm sure she would enjoy playing with it, but I'm not sure that I want to risk it. I may have to hose it off before I give it to her to protect her from the hazardous chemicals.

I just bought this today for my niece's birthday. When I saw the other reviews I grabbed the box and sure enough, there is a sticker on the back that reads "WARNING: CONTAINS LEAD. MAY BE HARMFUL IF EATEN OR CHEWED. MAY GENERATE DUST CONTAINING LEAD." The reviewer who couldn't find the warning on the package was probably right, because it's a sticker on the box. It may have been missed during packaging or been removed.

I'm so disappointed, as this was the only styling head I could find locally. Now I will have to return it.

Yes, It does contain LEAD! We just opened the box from Christmas and as I was throwing it away I read the label, it states: WARNING: CONTAINS LEAD. MAY BE HARMFUL IF EATEN OR CHEWED. MAY GENERATE DUST CONTAINING LEAD. We are taking it back today. This is NOT okay. I thought there were regulations as well. Obviously not the case of they slap a warning label on it. I would not advise buying this product for our child.

I bought this for my Niece as a gift, and it was sturdy and well made. She loves it. It will teach her how to style hair and she has had hours of fun playing with it. Everything that is included with it was well made.
