I purchased this doll for $11.95 and thought it was over-priced and now I see it going for $14.99. I bought it anyway because my two year old daughter loves to watch the show and I figured she would love the doll just as much and she does. The smile I got when I gave it to her was worth the price. The head, hands and feet are plastic and the body is cloth. Both the shirt and shorts are removable. Although 7" is rather small, it is just the right size for my daughter's little hands and it will be easy to tote around when we leave the house.

This Caillou doll is definitely small. However, I knew that going in (my husband says it's comparable to a 6" sub, if that helps anyone visualize the size) and my daughter LOVES it! She just turned two and has been in "love" (her words) with Caillou "forever" (again, her words). This size makes it so easy to take him everywhere!

A note about the clothing (standard outfit, yellow/red top and blue pants): my daughter decided to give Caillou a bath in the dog water. I didn't want the red to bleed on to the yellow, so I quickly washed the clothes by hand and dried them flat on a paper towel. Sure enough, the red started to bleed... but only on the paper towel : His clothes are as good as new!

Buy this for your toddler... you won't be sorry! Even the box is cute.

Bought this as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. I was pretty disappointed that I ended up paying $24 for a 7" doll, but what can you do? My daughter ADORES Caillou and Caillou toys are pretty scarce. Glad I was able to find it, but very disappointed in the price.

This doll is cute enough but really ? The price? Come on, it's tiny. There is really nothing to this doll. I can't believe I forked out what I did. I did see it's size when I purchased it but just thought it would be a little better made.

Of course, he has tatoo's now and she keeps his clothes in a drawer but she loves him!
