When I purchased this doll for my granddaughter I was pleased with what I saw. She is beautiful! The hair colors and acessaries are a little messy, but that's okay considering the smile on my granddaughters face when she was applying them! When it came to combing her hair, I have never in my life seen such a mess!!! This stuff tangled up so badly that I had to comb and braid her hair, WHICH TOOK ME TWO DAYS, in order for my baby to play with her! HER HAIR IS HORRIBLE!! I AM SORRY THAT I INVESTED IN THIS DOLL, SHE CAN NOT BE PLAYED WITH LIKE MY GRANDDAUGHTER WANTS TO BECAUSE SHE CAN'T EVEN COMB HER HAIR!!!! Do not buy this doll for this purpose!!!

I searched everywhere for a styling head doll that LOOKS like my 6 y/o. This little one is a perfect match. The Barbie and other styling heads look a little too "hooker-ish" for a young child. I don't care for the hair paint, and the hair tangles a bit, but it's still manageable, and my little girl loves to play with it.

I purchased this for a family member and when it arrived i was amazed at how beautiful it was. I thought wow!!!! As for a educational value; that I cannot judge, but she is a beauty and the good thing is that everything that can be done to the doll, can also be done to the little girl playing with it. For a girl that loves to do hair this is a perfect gift.
