This is a durable and colorful toy. It is very stimulating and encourages the use of imagination. However, it is titled wrong. That is most definitely Ariel and FLOUNDER, the fish. Sebastian is the crab.

My 3 year old loves this! It adds a fun dimension to his Little People world and it is possible to connect it with slightly older Little People collections...if you have one of the newer fences. Just to note: the plastic feels a little thinner and the chest plays one song-not a famous song. No other sounds. Plus, the figures included are Ariel and Flounder, not Sebastian although there is a little Sebastian stuck on the chest. Some assembly is required but because of that the toy is easy to get out of the box! Also, you need 2 aaa batteries. Overall, a fun toy! P.S. Even though this toy is not overtly educational in the least, I gave it 3 stars because my son makes up stories when he plays with it.

Bought this for my 3 yr old granddaughter. She loves the Little Mermaid so this was a great addition to her Little People collection. Also bought Ariel's coach to go with this and both were a hit. My 1 yr old granddaughter loves to play with this also and my son doesn't have to worry about all the little pieces that she could swallow like he does with some of the other toys out there. So great toy for both ages.

My daughter is completely in awe of Little Mermaid and she had been wanting this for a long time. The treasure chest in the castle plays music when opened. All peices fit nicely within for storage, but it doesn't lock up or anything.
