The photo was misleading. It did not show the heavy bangs on the doll that look like a big roll. The doll is really cute except for those. I will keep her as I use her as a dress form for doll clothes in my sewing room. Somewhat satisfied.

Yes, the bangs do look like a big roll and it was a surprise to us. The hais is NOT as long as it is shown on the website either (try about 3" shorter) and it was cut unevenly. Madame Alexander website is false advertising. Now I understand why there is no where to write a review on their website. My daughter loved the doll anyway and does not mind the "roll." I was quite disappointed. The Monkey Love doll shows hair down to the dolls buttocks but our doll arrived with hair cut extremely uneven and above the elbow!! Even more disappointment. Otherwise the dolls are beautiful and prettier than American Girl dolls.

I waited a long time for this doll to arrive. She is beautiful until you turn her around and see how uneven the hair is cut. Even a child could do better. Somebody in QA is sleeping on the job. Also she lists to one side like she has been played with a lot. I will have to send her back and hope they send a better replacement.

The doll arrived in poorly constructed carton which was crushed in several cases; Much to my surprise, however, the contents of the package were not damaged at all, the display was perfect, and the doll was beautiful. I am very pleased.
