I am an adult doll collector, and usually I search for barbies or my scenes dolls. Before I never gave a second glance at the bratz dolls, I thought they were ridiculous and I was not at all interested in them. Only recently about two weeks ago, while I was browsing the amazon website I was reading customer reviews of my scene dolls, and I kept reading comments about how bratz dolls were great, so out of curiosity I checked out one product of the bratz doll, and that started to get me interested. So, finally I went to the store and got myself a Dana doll from the Girls Nite Out line, and was so satisfied with the doll (she is so beautiful, her hairstyle is lovely and she has three gorgeous outfits) that I thought to myself that she needed a friend. I browsed the internet to find out what other Girls Nite Out doll would be best to get, and the Cloe doll seemed like a lovely choice. I liked the little blue dress and her hair style.
I bought her only yesterday, and I was disspointed from the very first moment I took her out of the box. She does not look as nice as she does in the pictures in amazon.com. Her hair is very unatractive, the loose hair strands make her hair style look messy and sorry to say she looks like a tramp. The little blue dress is nice though not as alluring as I imagined. Or maybe it is only my doll. I am confused why some reviews say that Dana looks like a prostitute. I don't think she looks trashy, I think Cloe does.
In my opinion, my scene or bratz dolls are not suitable for children under 6 years old. What I mean is that these dolls are made with very good quality, starting from the material, the painting of their faces, the hairstyles, and the very well made fashionable clothes. Children in that age range may not understand how to appreciate these dolls, so they may not take really good care of them, and it would be such a shame since these dolls cost a fortune.
Well, even though I am not satisfied with the Cloe Girls Nite Out Collection, I am already hooked with the bratz doll and will continue to expand my collection of them.
