Review of American Girl Cecile Doll and Paperback Book

My 10 year old loves playing with this doll even months after getting her for Christmas. The dress and boots are beautifully made and very durable. We also have the hat & necklace set that is very high quality. The dolls hair is in permanent ringlet curls so shouldn't be brushed. I love the doll's back story Cecile lives in New Orleans in 1853 in a city that is new to racial freedom and diversity.
