Finally! A doll that is both cute & quirky. I bought this for my 4 yr old daughter yesterday at our local Target store. It retails for $25.00 there, but they had very limited quantities. We bought 2 outfits and she's been having so much fun with this doll. I think it's the coolest, most unique doll I've seen out in a long time. And its age appropriate (unlike bratz dolls) Glad the doll looks like a little girl should. Yeah MGA. You got it right!!

I bought this doll for my 3 year old for Xmas. It was much larger than I had anticipated, having only seen it online, but I like it. I'd like to make a note that the doll's legs are white with black stripes painted on, but I think it just adds to the originality factor. I think the packaging adds to the overall whimsy of the contents, and is a nice presentation of the doll. I am definitely pleased with my purchase, and I can't wait for my daughter get her on Xmas morning!!!

Santa brought my 4-year-old a LalaLoopsy for Christmas, and it is a great toy. Very durable, and really has encouraged a lot of creative play. The dolls are not the standard "cutsie" baby dolls, but they have a quirky charm of their own that fits my daughter's personality well. Peanut Big Top comes with her pet elephant, and they have been on many adventures around our house in the last week. The only problem that we have had is that my daughter loves Peanut so much that she wants to sleep with her in her bed, and the doll is not exactly a soft, snuggly doll.

I normally dont write reviews, especially for toys but I just HAVE to for these little cuties!

I bought my daughter one of these almost a year ago back before they were popular or people knew what they were. We were walking through Toys R Us looking for something to buy my daughter for her birthday when I saw these. I make dolls that are very similar looks~wise so I was immediately drawn to them. Long story short, I gave one to my daughter and caused an OBSESSION!! lol

She is totally in love with these things! She has not gotten the least bit tired of them after about a year.

so heres a breakdown:

Pros:

~The hard plastic hair!! No more ratty Barbie doll looking mess after a few months...

~They are VERY durable!! These goobers have been jumped on, thrown, dropped off banisters, everything and still look brand new.

~SUPER cute! They have that somewhat Coraline button eye look keeping up with the "goth/cute/frilly" look

~They are perfectly sized. Not too small, no small parts to lose and big enough for little girls to cuddle with and carry everywhere

Cons:

~The packaging. They put those pesky plastic string things like you find on clothes into the back of their heads. I wish they would just use twist ties like everyone else...

~They are too cute! lol I have to buy them all and now they have the mini's too!

The doll is cute BUT the body/head/hair is hard plastic. I thought that it would be a softer stuffed body. Head is VERY HEAVY and doll cannot sit up on its own. It does, however, make fantasic weapon when brother is bothering you. OUCH.
