We bought these shirts along with girl-sized shirts to make matching doll/girl t-shirts using iron-on paper. These t-shirts look better than the picture depicts. They are high quality and fit American Girl dolls well.

For my daughter's American Girl birthday party, we tie dyed shirts for the girls and tie dyed these shirts for the dolls. These definitely fit the bill! I liked that the shirts velcroed in the back for easy on/off. My complaint is that the shirts were a little short for the dolls (even before dying).

I actually did not buy these shirts specifically for American Girl dolls, but I was pleased with their quality. The one aspect that surprised me upon arrival is that they have velcro all the way up the back. This turned out to be beneficial for what I needed, but I did not see that aspect noted in any descriptions. I used these plain shirts to make customized Ts for some dolls, and the iron-ons that I applied were beautiful. I was very happy to find these shirts at such a good price.
