This is a Groovy Girl from several years ago. I didn't think that was a big deal and got two, knowing my girls wouldn't even know the dolls weren't current. The main problem with the dolls is that their shoes are covered with a sparkly, vinyl like coating. The vinyl coating on both dolls shoes arrived cracked and falling apart. I don't think it's the sellers fault, it seems to just be the case that the materials have been sitting for several years and have broken down. The sparkly vinyl can be completely peeled off (there is fabric underneath) and the doll is very functional and cute. I would not buy this particular doll again because the shoe material coming off was very messy and not exactly something you want your kids to touch.

Nice Groovy Girls doll, but there was a problem--which is more of a seller issue than a product issue. The seller sold the doll as 'mint,' but it turns out that the shoe paint melted off onto the plastic bag this was stored in. So no glitter paint on the shoes, anymore. Disappointing, since I bought it to give as a gift and wouldn't have bought this one if I'd known.

She even has a little tattoo on her upper left arm. Every groovy girl we have ever bought is very well made, with tight seems and quality fabrics. This doll was in its original sealed bag. Nothing was faded or crumbing, and other than the 2007 on her hat, there would be no way to determine how old the rag doll is.

Anyone with kids into groovy girls could do much worse than getting this doll.
