My daughter got this for her 5th birthday and LOVES it. We both have had so much fun playing with this toy. The glitter isn't that messy and you can turn the blow dryer setting to no glitter and it will just blow air. The only thing I will warn you about is her hair doesn't really change color using the curling iron like it is supposed to. It did in the bath tub though! My daughter didn't really care that the curling iron didn't change her hair color, and I'm guessing most kids prob wouldn't even know it's supposed to if the parents don't tell them. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone who loves a little girl who loves Barbie and dress up!

This product includes a Barbie doll, a comb, a chair for the doll, a "straightener" that changes the color of Barbie's hair, elastic hair ties, hair gel, and of course the glitter blow dryer. The chair was a cute idea, but it just slid around the table while styling the doll's hair. The doll itself is very pretty and comes with a sparkly pink dress, a diamond necklace, and purple shoes. Her hair is streaked light pink, but when you run the color changing tool through it, it's supposed to become a darker pink and purple color. When I tried this, it didn't work very well and the hair got stuck in it. It is easier to just put the hair under cold running water in order to get the color change. The glitter blow dryer was the best part of the product! I love it because you can change the setting to just blow air, which is nice if you have smaller kids and were hoping not to get so messy. The glitter is pretty self-contained if you have it on a counter or a hard surface it is easy to wipe up with a damp paper towel. The glitter sticks best to her hair if it is damp or the gel is on it first, but it sticks pretty well even if it doesn't have anything on it though, too. The glitter that came in the blow dryer still hasn't run out for me yet, even though I haven't used too much of it. The shipping was quick and it came when it was supposed to come. Overall I like this product and would recommend it to a friend.

My daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. The chair and blow dryer are the biggest hits. Ours hair changed from pink.to.purple but not sure if it has changed again. I did not give her the gel as she is only 3 so I cant comment on it.
