My daughter was given this as a present last year for her 3rd Christmas. She plays with it frequently and it gets banged around quite a bit. There are a lot of pieces and she puts (drops) them all in a box together when she is done playing. It has held up perfectly, I haven't noticed any chips in the paint or anything. Nothing falling apart or knobs coming off or anything like that. I am impressed with the quality and durability and will be buying more of Le Toy Van's products. As for cuteness -way beyond! Even cuter than the picture can show.

This is by far the cutest kitchen furniture set for dollhouses for the younger children. There are so many darling accessories that come with this set (bowls, cups, bottles, pots and pans, spoons, broom and dustpan, etc.), and they are all made large enough that small children can easily grasp and play with them. The colors are cute, and the pieces (ALL OF THEM) are made to last. I have already purchased three sets of dollhouse furniture and one family of dolls from Le Toy Van, and I would gladly by more dollhouse furniture, dolls, or accessories from their company. SO SAD!! the 'original' one that was offered was LOVELY pink, and soft blue colours. THIS is HORRID green that doesn't even match the other sets :(

SUCH a bad clolour choice!!! the pieces themselves are ADORABLE, solid & GREAT detail. So, I got a small paint sample of matching BLUE from the original, and painted it to match.
