I bought this beautiful gift set for my daugters 4th birthday and I was very disapointed when I had a closer look at the Rapunzel doll. Her hair was very unevenly cut and there was a slit in the plastic on here back thigh. This dolls are made from very hard plastic and the quality is very lacking. I don't know if it is just the doll I bought but they also smell badly.

If I lived in the US I would have returned it.

We have bought 2 of these Rapunzel dolls and, both times, the hair on Rapunzel gets so tangled up that it's impossible to untangle. Mattel dropped the ball on this one.

I bought this for my daughter's fourth birthday. However, when it came, I realized how boring it was. (1) Rapunzel's hair is blonde, not brown; (2) her hair isn't really that long; (3) arms and legs have limited movement; and (4) Flynn's clothing looking very cheaply made and he has a creepy look on his face. Rapunzel's dress is beautiful though. Instead I drove to the Disney Store nearby (they also take orders online). I bought Rapunzel in the purple dress and love her. She has joints at the hands, feet, elbow and knee. This gives her SO much more movement. For example, my daughter puts her on a horse (Paradise horse 10 inch) and she is able to "hold" onto the reigns. Also, the dress is so beautiful and her hair is very long and full. This is almost a problem because it gets knotted easily, but I fixed it by putting it a long braid. Also, her features are more similar to the movie than this doll. The price is very reasonable, and I got mine for $10.00. Because there is just so much more that you can do with the Disney brand dolls, that is where I will be buying all my Disney characters from now on. They also have brown hair Rapunzel in the wedding dress that is between $10 $14.50.
