I was very disappointed when the dress arrived as the color was white, not the gold shimmer color that appeared on the website. I had no time to return the dress as it was a christmas gift, but I hope that in future the color portrayed is more authentic.

This doll dress( & accessories) is darling-and not to frilly. Rather an elegant look. I don't know how it will hold up under a 6 yr, old, but the quality seems fine. The purse handle is very delicate and wouldn't take a lot of abuse. On the other hand, if I wanted something that would stand the test of time and use, I could have spent $60-80.00 and bought the American Girl brand. I'm sure my grandaughter will enjoy this very much.

This dress is absolutely beautiful and my girls love it for their AG doll, but.... be careful to put the dress away yourself. My girls left the velcro undone and it ruined the bottom of the dress.
