I bought this for my 4yr old daughter bc she loves Barbies and saw this one on a commercial. It is designed horribly. The hair extenstions are nearly impossible to put it her hair for me her mother. My daughter can't use this Barbie for the way it was intended. She is a pretty doll and gets played with still but not for the cut n style way you are supposed to play. Please dont buy this doll.

My wife and I have been sitting for 20 minutes trying to get the hair extensions in. There is no way a child would be able to do this without incredible frustration. Some of the hair extension holes are too small to fit the plugs in to. Also, once you get about half of them in they start falling out when you put the rest in. We were very hesitant to get our child a Barbie in the first place. I would not recommend this product at all. Terrible design on the part of Mattel.

My 9 year-old daughter begged to buy this Barbie with her own money and was so excited about playing with it. The idea of hair extensions and changing hair styles is good, but the design was extremely poor. I, her mother, was unable to get the extensions in without having the others fall right out. Very FRUSTRATING!! We love Barbies, but this product was terrible! We spent 30 minutes trying to put the hair extensions in and I think it was foolish of them to make such a silly Barbie.

This Barbie is very poorly designed. The hair pieces plug into holes on Barbie's head. You have to twist the plugs in (though this is not stated in the directions and if you try to push them in w/o twisting, you will not succeed). Very hard for even adults to manipulate. The plugs fall out frequently nevermind the "cutting" concept. You will not even need the included scissors to make her hair shorter. Her hair extensions will fall out on their own. Her headband slips off easily as well. I plan to return the toy and contact Mattel with my complaints.

This one was a little expensive just for me to play with. I bought it in celebration of my daughter graduating beauty college! HOORAY! CONGRATS! But she is moving out of state, and will need a few more weeks training to get re-certified, so I am holding onto it for her. Isnt it just the most perfect Barbie!?
