The description. As of today, nowhere in the description does this say that it includes shoes. And amazon has it linked with the shoes in the " buy them together for..." section so you are a bit mislead that the shoes are not included, but they ARE! And because they say it's not their error, it costs more to ship the extra shoes back that I ordered than to keep them. Still working on that.
With THAT said, my daughter has a Dorothy costume from a school play, which I also purchased on Amazon, and every little girl wants a matching outfit for her American Girl doll that we parents are crazy enough to buy in the first place. (or any other 18" doll for the not-so-crazy parents.)
This is a decent price, as those of you who have seen the AG doll catalog already know. Although, it's sad that my daughters much larger outfit was $10 cheaper than this itty bitty thing. If I could sew, I think I'd start a new, and AFFORDABLE, business making doll clothes for everyday people's kids!

Definitely recommend if your daughter loves Wizard of Oz like mine does.This is absolutely adorable. My grandaughter is dressing as Dorothy this year and I ran onto this while I was hunting a Toto. She just loved it.
