I bought the La Dee Da Dee the Watermelon Smoothie Shop doll for my granddaughter's 8th birthday. Some of the other children at school collect Monster High or some of the other weird dolls. I dont want to spend good money on dolls that look slutty or vampire-like, as I think that a more sunny and light doll is better for children to dream/play with.

These dolls are very pretty. The different collections are small enough for someone on a budget to purchase. The price of the doll is less than some of the other brands. My older granddaughters (ages 10 & 10), wanted one too when they saw them. I purchased one of the garden tea party dolls for my other granddaughter, and the Juicy Crush grape doll to be a friend for the original birthday girl's watermelon doll. These should be the expensive ones. Not the ugly stuff! Details and quality are good too.

These dolls are super cute and my girls LOVE them. My 4 y/o wanted this one very much for her B-day. The only thing about it that was disappointing is that it's not exactly as pictured. The Grapes in her hair are not as sparkly and are bigger and there are no grapes on her shoes. My daughter was rather disappointed. She really liked those grape shoes.
