Our daughter had to have this, but was disappointed to discover that one of Barbie's arms is permanently posed, so she can hold and groom the puppies. She also has a lever in her back, to operate her free hand in an up & down motion.
The trade off is that this is a 'water toy' (joy, oh joy), so it can be used to make a soapy bubble mess with the puppies.
There are lots of tiny pieces to be lost, and it does not come with bubble solution, but has instructions on how to mix up your own.
