I knew how big the doll was when I purchased it. I bought it for my mother who was in a nursing home at the time. She loved dolls. I bought her this one because the doll's little behind is up in the air while sleeping, and Mother said that was the way we children slept when we were young. Well, mother is gone now and I have the doll. She is very, very precious and smells so good. For my own purposes though, I wish she were a little bigger so she would appear to be life like.

My granddaughter loves this baby but it was a little smaller than what she had hoped for. We kept it because we thought of it as a premature baby. It is still loved and played with.
