I originally purchased this doll because the stock photo looked amazing--way better than the Disney Store version. However I was rather disappointed when I received this doll in the mail. The hair looked nothing like the stock photo and the fashions were off. I ended up purchasing the Disney Store version during a 25% off weekend sale, and got him for $25. For $5 more I got a lot more quality than this doll. I do love the hat and China Girl that this Oz comes with. I don't absolutely hate him, I just don't think it looks anything like the movie character. If I had to describe him in one word it would be "satisfying." I did restyle his hair to make him look more accurate, and that helped out. Overall I say if your child wants an Oz doll, get them this one. If you are a collector like myself, go for the Disney Store version!

This doll is easily comparable to the official disney store version that costs twice as much. As an added bonus you get a scale appropriate China Doll. I can see why collectors may want to shell out the extra money for the other version but this is a great addition to any kids 12" doll collection.

I have most of this set and this is a very cute doll. The little china doll inside makes this worth getting. Nice for anyone who love the movie.
