The doll shipped fast which was great. However, I expected this doll to be in new condition as it was described. The box was ripped, and doll is missing a diamond in her necklace, also doll has plastic strap to hold the dress is broken. This doll clearly looks like it has been played with at one time. As a collector, this doll was going to complete my collection, but has no value. I will not return it because I do not want a hassle. I will look else where.

I have been a Marilyn Monroe fan for about 4 years now I believe. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes was the second Marilyn Monroe picture (movie) I've seen, and I loved it from beginning to end. Being a Barbie from the 90's, She does look like Marilyn. Her hair, costume, and accessories are pretty accurate to the costume Marilyn wore in her number "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend". Beautiful doll. I got her for Christmas in 2010 and I left her in her box and displayed her next to my other Marilyn Monroe Barbie from the Blonde Ambition line from 2009. A rare Beauty and I love her.

My late mother started my baby sister collecting Barbie. I started getting them for her after she passed away. This Marilyn Barbie is by far the prettiest one I have ever bought for her. She is going to love me at Christmas. She is 33 years old btw. LOL These dolls are not toys to be played with.
