I only purchased this outfit to use the knickers for a boy doll's 19th century outfit. I purchase doll clothing to play dolls with my niece, not to collect and not for display. For this reason I expected to be able to use the knit top that comes with this outfit but it was so cheap looking I just threw it away. The knickers were fine for my purpose.

I agree with previous reviewer -this is a different kind of outfit, not your typical dress or skirt or shorts. It's a very cute outfit. We got it for just over $10 and with Amazon Prime free shipping, it was such a deal. My daughter paired it with some beige slippers her doll already had, and it was a really adorable outfit. The little hair clip that came with it was really cute. Ruby Rose offers nice clothes that are very affordable, very pretty, and they come packaged nicely wrapped in tissue paper in a pretty little box. They pay attention to details, and that kind of thing really impresses me these days when everyone is cutting corners. When Ruby Rose has a "blow out" doll outfit, I pretty much grab it.

Well, i am turning into a huge fan of Ruby Rose doll clothes i pretty much bought half the items already.

This set is an incredible value at this price and what i like most is that it is not a dress! It is very interesting in colors and details, very good quality. It is a variation on AG outfit that retails for $32, however this is the third of the price!!!

I also have red trench, several dresses and an animal print coat/dress, all are fantastic! Thanks!

The Ruby Rose doll outfit fits American Girl Dolls perfectly. This outfit is really well made and just as nice as any American Girl outfit at a fraction of the price. It came with a cute hair clip and a beautiful box. I didn't even wrap this gift because the box was so nice!
