...In order to get the doll to sing two songs you need to remove the clear tab inserted in the doll. It is located on her lower back (you will have to raise her skirt to find it). Like another reviewer has mentioned her arms and legs at the knee are stiff (not adjustable). You cannot remove her dress (so no change of wardrobe is allowed). You can remove her boots and microphone but that is it--everything else is attached to the doll and you will damage/destroy the clothing if you try to remove it. The top of the dress is painted on the doll and the necklace is the button you push to make the doll sing so that cannot be removed either. I wish you could change her outfit and move her arms/knees like other dolls but my 6 year old loves her anyway.

My 7 year old loved the doll....that's all that matters to me. The hair color and outfit changing are fun little perks of this Barbie!

I wanted to give it a three for mom frustrations. But, my daughter would rate it a five.
So, we all know that she sings two songs. You have to find the release plastic piece somewhere near her rear and pull it out. This a good time to note that her dress is not removable. You will have to dig.
Her hair twists from brunette to a fun color. The trick is to grab and twist by her headband. It is right about on a 45 degree angle. Following the included directions may leave you frustrated for far too long.
After all that, I can tell you that her dress is a very nice quality and you will wish her boots came in your size. The volume of her songs is sufficient and she has already been played with a lot. I would feel comfortable paying $20-25 for the doll.

When my granddaughter opened this doll, she loved it instantly. However, she only sang one song and it was brief. There is a tab hidden under her dress at the back. When that tab is removed, she goes out of "demo" mode and sings the two full songs. The transforming dress and color-changing hair were also fun for her.
