Purchased this for my niece who is 4 for Christmas and she loves it! I remember as a child also enjoying Strawberry Shortcake. So happy there are so many different items involving the character now! Will buy this stuff again!

I love this doll. I bought it for my four year old for Christmas in 2011 and Strawberry Shortcake is just as I remember her from when I was a child. The doll itself is extremely durable and even the small parts are large enough that they don't become easily lost. The hair is super soft and very durable. The only problem I had with this doll is the fact that the hair isn't cut evenly. There is a large hank of it that is significantly longer than the rest of it. Before other customers object, this isn't the section of hair that is pulled back in a band when the doll is first unpackaged. This is clearly a mistake that came along with the doll that I purchased, forcing me to trim the hair down or live with it.
All in all, the doll is incredibly cute and a very good quality. If I could do four and a half stars, I would, just for that one hank of hair.

I wasn't sure about the "ice wand" used to change the color of Strawberry Shortcake's hair, but it actually works pretty well (ice would work just as well, though). My daughter loves strawberry shortcake, and was very excited when she got this toy for her 5th birthday.

My daughter really likes this doll and the light hair changes color really well with ice. However the ice wand isn't the best it says put water in the tube and set in the freezer for 60sec which it took alot longer than that and when it did finally freeze it didn't freeze around the wand like it was suppose which made the wand not work incredibly well or last very long at all. An ice cube works just as well and lasts longer than the wand would though. So overall it was a great doll and my daughter loves playing with her. I would recommend and it is worth the money.

Product as advertized, but costs too much. Good Christmas present for a friend that has a daughter into Strawberry Short Cake. Would recommend only if really desired.
