Ok, this goes for everyone who buys up these toys. You are ruining our kids Christmas. The original price for this item was only $295, And you want.. A THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THIS!?!?!?! THIS IS PITIFUL. AND I HOPE YOU AND EVERYONE GETS STUCK WITH THESE THINGS. Thanks for ruining Christmas for little girls who are fans of American Girl. I feel for everyone that feels the way that I do. This should be illegal! And if the people that are selling things like this have children.., they should be ashamed of themselves, because they should know better.

Ha! When I saw this, I literally laughed out loud! Yes, my daughter has the full collection of the Lanie 2010 girl doll of the year, but is lacking the camper...something I figured she could be without because it sold for $295.00 on American Girl. When I was just browsing Amazon and saw this, I couldn't help but laugh! It's unbelievable...it really must be a joke! Nothing is ever worth that much for this!! HAHA! Do you think this is really going to sell? I mean, I can see that you want to make a profit, but of $700.00+ ??? UNREAL! If you sold it for $350.00, I could see some takers, but not a thousand! HAHAHA! Good luck with this one!

Best Deals for American Girl Lanie Camper and Gear

We found this looking for a dollhouse camper for our sons. I totally agree with the other parents here. This is way over the top for price gouging, and we too wish that Amazon would make some rules about this. Too bad ther isn't a time limit to wait on "collectable vs toy" pricing. At least a year out of production before charging what they think is a collectable price. This is just pure greed. Maybe it's the reason the seller won't give their full name.

I purchased a Lanie for my grandaughter this Christmas and have really not known

anything about the American Doll and the way little girls loves them so much.

My daughter suggested that my grandaughter would love it. She was right!!

I was lucky to get a Lanie before they sold out and just looking at the catalog

I saw Lanies Camper & Gear. Wow the price of $295. stopped me from ordering it.

When I saw how much fun my grandaughter has had playing with the doll after Christmas

I thought I might be something we could order for her coming Birthday...well I guess

that was wrong. SOLD OUT. I wondered how many American Girl campers they had?

Well after trying to find on American Girl website I gave up, until I thought of

Amazon.com . That was a mistake, the Lanies campers are selling for $795 !!!!

Talk about thieves, I know these sellers would like to make some money but first

place they probably bought too many so the parents couldn't find them, and now

they are trying to make a huge profit from kids.

Thanks to you the children that really would like to have this toy,have not a

chance. Like someone else said in the review, I hope you get "stuck" with

your purchases, probably like to see you have to sell them

for less than you paid. Sounds like a

good deal.

Here's how I see it, I can take $400 or more and get a lot more of the American Girl stuff for my girl versus settling for this one item. It would make her a lot happier too. It is absurd how much folks are asking for this camper. Only an idiot would pay this amount. The kid doesn't really want it that bad. At least, that's what my girl told me. She said it's not worth it mom. I want more stuff versus the one thing.
