I got this doll for my niece who is called Madeline. It was for her first birthday. It is a gorgeous soft doll, just perfect for a little person and she loved it. I hope they spend lots of time together and have lots of adventures just like the French Madeline

Before taking my 4yr old twin granddaughters to the local children's theater for the play, Madeline's Christmas, I presented them each with a doll. They loved them. They held them throughout the play and snuggled them tenderly. They were excited that her coat comes off, and I was happy that the hat does not. Best Fisher-Price® Dora Sparkle & Twirl Mermaid Doll Deals

Anything Dora in our house is a hit and this is no exception. My two girls love the Dora Saves the Mermaid DVD and this doll looks like the character in the movie which is fun for them. Not sure about the issue with the sound or movement per the other review, perhaps it was a battery issue? Sound and movement work great for us. My youngest loves the stories Dora tells. I would recommend this toy.

We purchased this doll for our grand daughter's birthday. It worked twice then quit. What a dissapointment to our grand daughter. She was broken hearted. All the other Dora Items we have purchased seem to be ok but this one just didn't work. Nothing about it worked. The talking did not work either. It should be taken off the market., I have heard the same thing happend to others that have purchased this toy.

Terrible waste of money! My four year old was so dissapointed when she finally got this for her birthday. It does talk and move and sing but the skirt does not retract fully. Instead of turning around it gets stuck and goes back and forth over and over and the skirt doesn't fully retract. Because this a mermaid doll she was expecting to bath with it. She couldn't understand that this mermaid doesn't go into the water. Very large and chunky. I figured it being a "SPARKLE" Dora the base or something would light up or be sparkly but there are no sparkles except on the malfunctioning skirt. Big dull dud. Don't waste you money.

My daughter saw this in the store and wanted it for Christmas. I was disappointed when I read the reviews because I wanted to buy it for her but didn't want her to get upset when she starts playing with it. But I bought it anyway and thought that if it won't work, I can always return it. When we tried to set it up, it wasn't working at first. But then, I saw a tab at the back of Dora, just below her neck. When I took it out, the toy works the way it should be. My daughter loves this toy and I'm so glad I bought it for her!

I agree with the other reviewers who described the doll as chunky and not that much fun except when on the spinner. We got it for our grand-daughter for her third birthday, along with the mermaid video. She absolutely loves it. I was disappointed that the doll doesn't bend her legs, because we also got the sea-horse carriage to go with it. After the birday party we went to our local discount store and several of the other items in the mermaid line were on sale, so we got Mariana, whose legs bend. Since everything we got from Amazon and the discount store was on sale I feel the cost was reasonable. Now our grand-daughter wants one of each of the dolls in the line! I told her they were all just Dora with different dresses and hair. I asked her what she would do with all those Dora dolls; she immediately piped up, "Play with them!" She is so cute I'll probably get all of them for her!

Our daughter oves playing Barbie and playing school, so this fit the bill. It's fun to have the Kelly doll, and even though the playground accessories are a bit flimsy, it's perfectly fun and she loves it. She really uses her imagination when she plays with it so I consider that plenty "educational."

I got this for my daughter (well, Santa did!) last Christmas and she loves it. Very fun, colorful and seems fairly sturdy, though one of the wheels pretty quickly came off the trike. All and all a great toy set!!

Discount Barbie Collector Palm Beach Breeze Doll

The Palm Beach series (coral, bathing suit, and this one, breeze) were a very welcome addition to the more classic and traditional BFMC collection. Instead of evening dresses or career dolls, we get a great look and feel of Palm Beach Florida in the 1960s.

Breeze is wearing a soft, flowing, almost see-through crepe-silk like caftan. Underneath, she has light blue silk undergarements. The arabesque neckline is decorated with beads and she wears matching earrings of blue beads.

What I really love about Breeze is that she is so different from nearly every other BFMC collector doll. Her clothes aren't form fitting or even form enhancing. Instead, they are light and airy and swirl around her beautifully. Her hair is thick and lush but admittedly has to be occasionally tamed because there is so much of it. She wears matching blue high heels.

Because this doll is so unusual, she really does stand out from the other, more 'glam' Barbies. I think she is quick lovelier in person than the picture shows and was very pleased when I bought her. I immediately took her out of the box and she looks just as good on display.

Palm Beach Breeze is from the high end collector BFMC series. She is a 'silkstone' made of a vinyl plastic that is similar in weight and texture to porcelain. Since she is in the BFMC series, her clothing and accessories are of the highest quality. Most BFMC dolls also have vintage faces.

It's a fun toy to play around with but it wasent what i thought it would be, i was a little dissapointed because i thought i could make the doll do a baton twirling routine that i made up but it's not like that , there's a lever that you attach to the back of it and you just push on it and the stupid doll just moves her arms around, she doesent really twirl the baton that much , all in all it's still kind of fun to mess around with .

My daughter asked for a "brown barbie" for her birthday. I like that she wants to play with barbies with different cultures, and I hope no no reads this finds her term of "brown" to be offensive, it isn't. My daughter is 4!! :P

Anyway, the price was great for this doll and she came with fun clothes (a bit sexy, but not bad) and shoes. The doll is pretty, and they obviously tried to make the doll look more "ethnic." However, it is a barbie doll and really....it looks like a Caucasian barbie that happens to be darker...(some of the facial features were altered, but very minorly)

Although my daughter loves her and thinks she is so pretty, I have to say that this is probably the cheapest barbie I have ever purchased. Her entire body is hard plastic. Usually a barbie's legs are rubber, these are not...THEY ARE HARD PLASTIC. Looking at it, you wouldn't think differently, but to hold it....she feels cheaply made. You can't make her knees bend cuz of the hard plastic.

Also the hair does not look good. It's uneven and not so pretty and wavy like this picture shows. I considered trimming it myself, but haven't yet. It just looks like this doll was mass produced quickly.

Do not order this toy! i have attempted to order this toy twice and each time I have received the incorrect product! I did get what was called the Fisherprice loveing family kids bedroom it just happens to be the set that is everywhere else with the canopy bed and blue vanity. If I had wanted the set with the canopy bed and vanity I would have driven over to my local toy store and paid $8.99 which is the price on sale right now.. Instead I order the product pictured of a trundle bed and pay $24 including shipping and received the $8.99 set..great! What do they think just because the product is called the same thing that I won't notice it is completely different? come on! the set I received looks cheaply made and that is why I was trying to order the trundle bed set that looks much better.. but forget it after attempting to purchase the set I actually wanted from 2 different sellers I give up they suck and I am moving on! don't waste your time you won't get what is pictured even if you actually decide to buy it! I am afraid my daughters little girl doll will be forced to sleep on the floor or in the doghouse this Christmas!

My daughter received the dollhouse for Christmas, but only a couple of the accessory pieces. Once we bought this one for her birthday, she uses the dollhouse all the time. Now she has someplace for the sister to sleep. If only they made a brother bed...he wouldn't have to sleep in the bathtub! The bedroom set is durable, but the pillow and blankets are a little big to stay on the bed, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I cannot stress this enough. I'd read the mixed reviews on this item and decided to follow my "good deal" arrow. What a huge mistake. Upon opening this item I immediately noticed paint chipped and missing on a piece. On another piece I found warped wood like it had gotten wet. The item is pictured white and pink. However when it arrived it was pink, bright white and antique white. The quality of this doll armoire is really, just, horrible. We are sending it back and will look at a different brand entirely.
