My daughter just turned 5, and she's been really wanting a dollhouse big enough for her Barbies for a little while now. I did a lot of searching to find this one. Not only did I want something durable and cute, but affordable. I was just going to give in and go with the Barbie one, but it cost a lot more and most reviews I read said it was not the most durable of dollhouses. This one had great reviews, and I see why. It took my husband an hour to put it together, but I can see that it's going to hold up and withstand the torture that my daughter and sons put it through (they literally "love" their toys to death!). She got it Wednesday, and it's been played with for hours everyday so far. The kids think it's great that there are three floors, one for each of them to play on! They love the stairs, and have now asked if we can sell our house and buy one with spiral stairs like it. Ummmm.....yeah. Ken immediately had to take a nap on his new bed, and Barbie had to put on her best dress to have dinner in the new house. Even my youngest son's G.I. Joe toys love the couch! This house is definitely a great deal, and I can see it being a staple in our playroom for a while to come!

This dollhouse seems to be well built. The picture does not do it justice. The walls are bright and vibrant and the furniture is fun and goes with most of the Barbie sized dolls.

We have a Kidkraft kitchen already and have been pleased with the quality.

Hubby and I decided to wait to assemble this until Christmas Eve. Big mistake! He's very handy and it still took us over an hour. So be prepared to spend at least this long to get it all set up.

But once it was assembled it was adorable! My five year old shrieked with delight on Christmas morning when she saw it and played with her Barbies all day long. This does accommodate Barbie sized dolls with ease and after two weeks the novelty hasn't worn off yet. This was a big hit and I love that it came with all the furniture. It's really cute and modern and I feel it was a good value for the money.

Both my 10 yr. old daughter and my almost 5yr. old son love this dollhouse. It's taller than my son and almost as big as my daughter. It wasn't too hard to put together but there are a lot of steps, so worth it though to see the look on their faces. I have recommended this house to several people. Love it!!!!!

We purchased this dollhouse for our daughter's 8th birthday two months ago. She had outgrown her "Little Pony" palace, yet still enjoyed playing with dolls. This dollhouse fits Barbie and friends nicely, including the furniture! The furniture is sturdy and made of wood or hard plastic. The house was easy to assemble (in about 90 minutes), because the pieces were well-marked with numbers and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I suggest laying out the individual pieces before assembly -I grouped them by their numbers. While my husband and I assembled it, our daughter helped a little but mainly played with the furniture that came pre-assembled in its own box.

So far, our daughter has enjoyed the dollhouse immensely. She stands a little taller than the house which is just under 4 feet tall. There is plenty of room for her friends to join her, too. I've seen several occupants in the dollhouse, including Barbies, Zoobles, and Polly Pockets. The plastic toilet got the most use early on, as poor Barbie must have had a tough case of stomach flu. (She monopolized the bathroom for days!) Thank goodness, she's better now and having pizza in the second floor dining room.

We're glad we bought it, and to recap: It's sturdy, easy to assemble, fun and large enough for bigger girls!
