After the brilliance that was the first 2 Barbie as Sandy Dolls in the Grease collection as well as the current "Cheerleader" Sandy, this doll is a huge disappointment. Not only does the face really not resemble Stockard Channing, the hair is a mess(also several little bits of it can be seen stuck to the inside of the box that I received and in nearly every box I have seen in stores.) While the outfit is cute and true to the character , it looks very cheaply made. While I suppose the doll is worthwhile for the true collector of Grease memorbilia, others should probably stick with the Cheerleader Sandy.

My daughter has a collection of Barbie Dolls and is a fan of 'Grease'. I was unable to locate this doll anywhere except through Amazon. This made her collection complete. I collect Barbies and I think this one was OK. The weird thing is that I got a "Frenchy" stand with my Rizzo doll. Can't figure out how that happened. I agree with the reviewer who said it really doesn't look like the actress, but I guess there's only so much you can do with that.
