I bought Baby GoGo for my son shortly before our daughter was born. It was so refreshing to find a doll that wasn't pink or blue, and is so cute. The doll itself if the perfect size for my 2.5 year old. It is cuddly and soft, light and manageable, yet very durable. This is great, since I expect it to be played with for many years by my son and daughter! The book that comes with the doll is really sweet, and a great tool for helping a child get ready for a new baby. It really helped him know what was to come, and we used the doll to teach him how to treat his new sister. After our daughter was born, our son really cared for his "baby". Baby GoGo helped him feel included in the process of caring for the newborn instead of feeling isolated from it. It helped tremendously, and it is so sweet to see how he gentle and sweet he is not only with his baby doll, but with his baby sister. We have the Baby GoGo diaper bag and moses bed too, which are super cute and really well made!

We wanted to prep our son for his soon to be sibling, however it was difficult to find a boy or gender neutral baby. This baby is nicely enough made, however the blanket is attached to the leg and there isn't much articulation. The book that came with the baby is great though, it is a good story on getting a baby brother/sister.

Last year in January there was a big change in my household. We brought home a brand new baby girl. I was really worried about how my two older kids were going to handle it. Especially my son. I got this for my grandson who was going to be just over two when his little sister was born. He already had a stroller he "raced" around the backyard. Adding a lifelike babydoll helped with the transition, especially since he was to be a middle child. He learned to diaper, clothe, and cover his baby with him in his bed. He occasionally nurses the baby or shares his pacifier with it. It is very well constructed and gender-neutral. I HIGHLY recommend it.

We bought Baby Go Go as as sibling gift for our then 1 1/2 year old to give to her when she met her baby sis for the first time. Since then, Baby Go Go has been fairly popular with our oldest and subsequently her little sis now loves to toddle around carrying Go Go as well. The doll is fairly sturdy, however the outfit pilled just from use, not that it matters much since our Go Go is apparently a little exhibitionist and spends more of its time naked. The problem with naked Go Go is that you can see all the zip ties used to attach the limbs to the body and the limbs also twist around so this doll looks like a victim from a SAW movie half the time. Right now, I'm staring at this doll where the 11 month old has deposited her and I sort of expect it to twist its little head around blink at me and tell me it wants to eat my soul. With that said, the doll was great for showing our toddler how to hold (and not hold a baby) and the little book it came with is pretty cute.
