I really appreciate this doll. It's great you can learn about ones countries ,their cultures and religions and what they are going thru in their everyday life by just buying a simple doll. Heart for heart dolls is a perfect idea, kids are playing while learning at the same time plus by buying these dolls, the portion of the purchase price is donated to a non-profit organization that helps children from that doll's country. Love the doll itself. Her clothes are of great quality. High quality rooted hair that is very soft, silky and very easy to comb. Beautiful colored eyes .Unfortunate she doesn't come wearing the boots and same veil is as shown on pic. she is wearing shoes instead and the veil is all pink and quality and style looks different than what you see on the box. But it isn't a big deal .Looking forward for more clothes and accessories for Shola. My kids are half Punjabi from India and half Liberian from West Africa. So I'm hoping that one day H4H will make a doll representing both countries. All tho they already have Najhi And Rahel . But for now, I'm very pleased with their doll collections and quality. Well done Playmate H4H dolls!! A fan for life.

Got this as a gift for my daughter. She's a beautiful doll, and comes beautifully packaged. Perfect size for my 6 year old to cuddle. The doll comes with a hijab, kameez top (but no salwar pants or anything else), purple flats instead of the boots in the picture (which is why the doll looks like she forgot her pants), a bracelet for your daughter, comb, book about her, and extra hair tie.My biggest pet peeve is when they planned the doll, they gave her purple boots, which didn't make her look like she forgot to put on her pants. When they switched to the purple flat (something you don't find out until you get the box and open it), it left her legs looking too bare for an Afghan girl. The hijab is easy to put on and take off...and has a little velcro bit as well as piece of elastic. It can come off fully, and the doll has nice long hair.
Love the doll and we will probably invest in more, but hope they remedy the pants situation. :)

The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is that the doll does not come with the purple boots pictured. She came with plastic purple flats and bare legs. But on a postive note, Shola is a very nicely made doll. I particularily like the fact that a part of the proceeds go to the children in the country featured via World Vision. I love this doll too. I bought her when I ordered the Mosi doll. I am ordering another one because her eyebrows did not match the picture of her on the box. Sorry!
